Karnataka Bank Clerk Previous Question Papers

The Karnataka Bank was founded in 1924 and since then has spread its network across India.Karnataka Bank is one of the major banking organisations of India based in the city of Mangalore, Karnataka. It employs over 7600 people and has around 6.7 million customers.

Recently the Karnataka Bank has announced the conduction of a test to fill in for the vacancies for the post of clerk. This is a chance of a lifetime for those who wish to have a government job. Candidates applying for the job should be between 18 to 26 years old. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is up to 5 years. Candidates should possess Graduates in either one of Arts/ Commerce/ Science/ Computer Application/ Business Administration/ Business Management.

Candidates will be selected based on the performance in test and personal interview.

Test pattern –

It is a computer based test and will consist of objective type questions. There will be multiple-choice questions in the test. The duration of the test is 2 hours and it is a 200 marks question paper. There will be 200 questions in the test.

The test is divided into five sections – General Awareness, Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Clerical Aptitude. Each section will consist of 40 questions. Maximum marks for each section will be 40.

Every correct answer will increase the score by 1 mark. Although for every wrong answer there will be negative marking of ΒΌ marks. Expected cut-off marks for this test are 138- 145.

Number System, Percentages, Ratio and Proportions, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Simple & Compound Interest, Data Interpretation, Coding-Decoding, Directions, Analogy, Arithmetical Reasoning, Clocks & Calendars, Decision Making, Embedded Figures, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Verb,Tenses, Adverb, Error Correction, Subject-Verb Agreement, Articles, Comprehension, Sentence Rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks, Grammar, Vocabulary, Unseen Passages, Synonyms and Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, etc.
